The coach doesn't answer

The coach runs on Apple Intelligence, on your iPhone. It needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. Right after turning it on, the model may still be downloading; give it a little while. Your plan, zones and workout reviews work without it.

My plan doesn't match my running

Pocket Pace starts from your past year of runs in Apple Health. If you skipped connecting Health, open You → Settings → Connect Apple Health. If access was turned off, allow it again in the Health app: your profile, Apps, Pocket Pace.

My heart rate zones look wrong

Without a measured value, zones come from the highest heart rate in your workouts of the past year, or from your age. If you have a lab test or a field test, add it under You → Measurements; measured values always win.

Moving or changing a run

Tap a run in Week to edit, move or remove it. You can also ask the coach, for example "Move tomorrow's run to Sunday". Plan changes only happen after you confirm them.

Apple Watch and widgets

Install Pocket Pace on your watch from the Watch app on your iPhone. Today's run appears on the watch and as a complication. On iPhone, add the Next run widget from the home screen or lock screen.

What the coach remembers

The coach only keeps what you agree to save. You find every note under You → What your coach knows, and can remove each one. The chat itself starts fresh every day.

Deleting your data

You → Settings → Delete all data removes your plan, races, measurements, chat and notes from your iPhone. Your workouts stay in Apple Health. Read the privacy policy.
